Transition Year 1997:
Transition Year were judged overall national winners (Gold Sun Award) in an Energy Awareness competition organised by the Irish Energy Centre. The prize consisted of a one week trip to Wales for the class accompanied by two teachers. Transition Year students presented with President's Award at an Gaisce Presentation.
